Refinance/Short Form Commitment

The first product produced with the Title EDGE process was for a refinance title commitment in Southern California. Since then we've processed hundreds of thousands of refinance orders throughout much of the country.

Our refi/short form products use your existing title plant and data provider relationships as their foundation. Alternatively, we can introduce you to transactional data relationships in areas of the country where you do not have data access or to augment your existing relationships.

Our search and extraction engines utilize your underwriting guidelines, business rules, templates, and customer requirements to identify and retrieve the appropriate documents and extract all of the information relevant for the completion of your title product. We combine the results with your codebook, templates, and other rules to product the short form commitment according to your exacting requirements.

Returned products also include all of the supporting images, chains of title, name chains, document images, taxes, and associated maps. In addition, once completed, each product is automatically uploaded into your production system eliminating any redundant keystrokes or data entry and insuring that the rest of your production process continues without interruption.
